Ancient Mysteries

Hey. It's me, Alex. Some kids have a love for horses, or skateboarding, or surfing, whatever. It's like a really important hobby. My love, actually my passion, is ATLANTIS, as in the lost city/island/civilization. My hope is to go to college to become an archaeologist and then devote my life to proving whether or not Atlantis really existed or if it was more of an allegory fable.

This section is sort of like the news section but it contains articles pertaining to ATLANTIS, other lost civilizations, and other mysteries like UFOs, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and more.

If you ever have questions, you can email me about them. I'm not an expert but I have some pretty good resources for answers.

ARCHAEOLOGISTS CLAIM THEY'VE FOUND LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS
Archaeologists Claim They've Found Lost City Of Atlantis (VIDEO)
The Huffington Post, December 17, 2009

Undersea archaeologists have found the ruins of an ancient city on the bottom of the Caribbean Sea, and researchers claim that it is the fabled and lost city of Atlantis. The satellite photos do show something that could be a city, and the researchers believe that what they've found would predate the pyramids of Egypt. Indeed they claim to be able to make out a pyramid and other city-like structures from the satellite photos.

The archaeologists have so far refused to divulge their identities or the location in the Caribbean. They say they are raising money for an expedition to confirm their findings.

Experts stumped by ancient Jerusalem markings
Israeli diggers who uncovered a complex of rooms carved into the bedrock in the oldest section of the city recently found the markings: Three "V'' shapes cut next to each other into the limestone floor of one of the rooms, about 2 inches (5 centimeters) deep and 20 inches (50 centimeters) long. There were no finds to offer any clues pointing to the identity of who made them or what purpose they served. Full Text
